TeraWireless Course 1: Diversity, Equality and Inclusion

From 25 May to 25 June 2026, TeraWireless successfully delivered Course 1: Diversity, Equality and Inclusion as part of the project's training programme, organised by partner Anteral SL.
The course was offered in an asynchronous online format, allowing the TeraWireless Doctoral Candidates to complete the training at their own pace while accommodating their research and doctoral programme commitments.
The course aimed to strengthen participants' understanding of diversity, equality and inclusion in research and innovation, while promoting inclusive research environments and responsible research practices. Throughout the course, participants explored key concepts and practical approaches related to:
Diversity and inclusion in research and higher education;
Equal opportunities and non-discrimination;
Unconscious bias and inclusive decision-making;
Creating inclusive and respectful working environments;
Good practices for fostering diversity within international research teams.
Participants completed the course through a combination of online learning modules and a final assessment, enabling them to consolidate the knowledge acquired during the training.
