On Friday, 22 May 2026 TeraWireless hosted School 2 State-of-the-art of THz Networks, organized by UPRC and RNP, bringing together experts from academia and industry to discuss key challenges and developments in future THz-enabled wireless systems.
The school covered topics related to THz propagation, channel modelling, performance evaluation methodologies for future 6G systems, and wavefront engineering for THz wireless communications.
The programme included the following lectures:
● Propagation and channel-model requirements behind THz standardization - Dr. Jiming Chen (RNP)
● Performance indicators and evaluation methodologies for future THz-enabled 6G systems - Dr. Kan Lin (RNP)
● Fundamentals of Wavefront Engineering for THz wireless communications - Dr. Sotiris Droulias (UPRC)
● Designing beams for efficient, reconfigurable and perceptive THz wireless connectivity - Dr. Sotiris Droulias (UPRC)
The event was open online to external participants.
